Interaction and Networking

The Penn State Tennis Club offers competitive and meaningful gameplay for the beginner, intermediate, and advanced tennis player. Playing others in the club who are more advanced can be a great way to improve your own level of play. You can also attend an instructional clinic to gain further experience and knowledge of the game.

Access

Members of the Penn State Tennis Club have the privilege of using the best tennis courts on campus. Weekly court hours are reserved exclusively for the club. During the Fall and Spring, court hours located at the Sarni Tennis Facility. In the Winter, court hours are indoors at the Penn State Tennis Center.

Travel Team

Every member has a chance to be a part of the co-ed Tennis Club Travel Team, but only the top few are selected. Based on the results from the pre-season tournament, the top 8 male and top 8 female players will be eligible to be on the travel team. The Penn State Club Tennis Travel Team placed 7th in the National Campus Championships in 2010.

THON

Join the Penn State Tennis Club THON Committee to have fun participating in fundraising for the Four Diamonds Fund and attend the Dance Marathon! Several members of the club go on canning trips in the months leading up to THON. Also, the club hosts a 12-hour Tennis MaraTHON which is a great way to help fundraise for THON.
